Support Services

Mashgichim - Our mashgichim wear many hats based on their primary goal of developing meaningful relationships with students. They serve an important role in helping you adjust to a dual curriculum while maximizing your learning and spiritual growth at the same time.

Shiur Assistants - Most shiurim have an assistant to help you with any shiur related questions or needs.

Madrichim - We have appointed alumni from many Israel Yeshivot to function as madrichim to help our new students acclimate to Â鶹Çø.  In addition to guiding new student the madrichim run get-togethers and events for their fellow alumni.

Learning Opportunities

There are many opportunities for learning outside the shiurim and classes you take here at YU. Please take a look at the many Chaburot which take place throughout the week

Night Seder

Beis Midrash Seating

MYP,  SBMP, and RIETS shiurim learn in three Batei Medrash– the Harry Fischel Beit Midrash and the Glueck Beit Midrash and Klein Beit Midrash. Please consult the Shiur Location List below for a complete list of shiur locations. Each Rosh Â鶹Çø and his shiur has a designated learning area within a beit midrash. Seats will be assigned by the Shiur Assistant of your shiur or by your rebbe if there is no designated Shiur Assistant. Please consult the charts and diagrams on the website (Glueck first floor, Glueck Second Floor, Fischel) to familiarize yourself with your shiur’s location and the name of your Shiur Assistant. When you arrive in your beit midrash please find your shiur’s location and introduce yourself to the Shiur Assistant. He will be happy to help you settle into a makom. Please keep in mind that there are no chazakot on seats from previous semesters.

In addition, to make it easier to find where you specific shiur will be meeting, please review the following:
