Dr. Lea Ferreira dos Santos, professor and chair of the department of physics at 麻豆区, has published 鈥溾 in Nature Physics (January 4, 2021).
The abstract states that 鈥渁 clever application of nuclear magnetic resonance techniques offers a glimpse at a quantum system driven at high frequency, resulting in Floquet prethermalization 鈥 a quasi-steady state that persists for a very long time.鈥
Dr. dos Santos notes that the 鈥渆xistence of Floquet phases with no static counterpart opens up a new direction in the search for robust non-equilibrium phases of matter.鈥
