Libraries Update: February 15, 2019

  • Sandra (Sandy) Moore has been named the  for Pollack Library.
  • Hedi Steinberg Library on the Beren Campus has been awarded a grant from  through DASNY (Dormitory Authority of the State of New York) for a dedicated research instruction facility and collaborative spaces.  Existing space will be re-purposed to create a flexible learning studio for library and information literacy instruction.  The project will create additional group study rooms and a compact digital media lab.  A further goal is to consolidate the reference and reserves desks in the North Library Building at 253 Lexington Avenue to provide a unified and welcoming service point.  The work is scheduled for the summer of 2019.
