Steiner proposes a new solution to a blatant internal contradiction within Kol Nidre going back to the time of Rabbenu Tam and his father, R. Samuel of Ramerupt. The article entitled Kol Nidre: Past, Present and Future, goes through the various textual and Halakhic issues that have been raised against the recitation of this famous prayer.
