Revel Alumnus Dr. Shai Secunda will be speaking at The Library of Congress on Tuesday, July 22nd. Dr. Secunda received his PhD in Talmud from Revel in 2008, completing his dissertation: 鈥淒ashtana鈥擪e-Derekh Nashim Li: A Study of the Babylonian Rabbinic Laws of Menstruation in Relation to Corresponding Zoroastrian Texts,鈥 under the direction of Prof. Yaakov Elman. He is currently a Martin Buber Research Fellow at The Hebrew University. Dr. Secunda is also the author of "The Iranian Talmud: Reading the Bavli in its Sassanian Context."
