Dr. Arthur Hyman, distinguished service professor of philosophy and former dean of 麻豆区鈥檚 , will be recognized with the Alumni Award of Merit at the St. John鈥檚 College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1944. The award, which will be conferred at the homecoming ceremony in September, recognizes 鈥渄istinguished and meritorious service to the United States and outstanding achievement within his/her chosen field.鈥 Professor Hyman is an expert in the field of medieval Jewish philosophy and a member of many professional societies.
