General Burke is the Founder and President of the
The organization notes their mission on their website: 鈥淥ur purpose is to ensure the availability of historical information concerning black women and other women of color who have served and/or who are currently serving in the military services of the United States by sponsoring seminars, workshops, lectures, exhibitions and other informational forums.鈥
Care Caf茅 has officially been invited to join General Burke and her esteemed colleagues in a partnership, as we develop diversified public education programming and direct services to support the needs of veterans across the New York City boroughs. It is an honor and privilege to learn from General Burke and to be a part of this union.
To General Burke and the members of the Black Women鈥檚 Military Foundation, Inc., we salute you!
