Expand your practice with the Wurzweiler School of Social Work — now offering a free-standing Post-Graduate CASAC training program designed to meet the credentialing requirements for practicing in the field of addiction, including alcohol, opioid and other substance dependence.

LMFTs, LMHCs, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, Licensed Nurse Practitioners and others in approved human services fields can take advantage of this credentialing program.

The world is suffering and needs your passion and applied professional knowledge. Social workers in addiction will be in a position to lead.

The CASAC Difference

Flexibility: Learn and complete training hours with weekly online deadlines.

Small Class Size: Training sections capped at 12 participants.

Interactive Learning Environment: Dynamic discussion boards with professor and colleagues.

In Demand Field: There is a critical workforce shortage of qualified professionals in the field of addictions; the need is particularly felt in minority and urban populations.

U.S Labor Statistics predict a 22 percent increase in jobs for addiction specialists. Dually credentialed professionals are highly sought after and valued members of the practice community.
